The five things that actually separate printers
Most printers in Malaysia look similar from the outside. The differences that matter to you only show up once you are ordering, and they are these five: the minimum order you are forced into, whether you can see your design before you pay, what the real turnaround is, whether anyone can tell you where your order is, and who actually prints it. Price matters too, but it is the easiest to compare and the least likely to go wrong.
- Minimum order. Traditional silkscreen needs a screen burned per colour, so those printers need 20 to 50 pieces to make it worthwhile. If you want fewer, you need a printer whose method has no setup cost.
- Seeing it before you buy. Many printers still work by emailing a mockup back and forth. That is fine if you have days to spare, and painful if you do not.
- Turnaround, stated honestly. Ask whether the quoted days are production time or include delivery, because those are very different promises.
- Knowing where your order is. Most Malaysian printers go quiet after payment and you chase them on WhatsApp. This is the single most common complaint in the category.
- Who prints it. A surprising number of printing businesses are brokers who send your job elsewhere. That adds a day, a margin, and someone to blame when it goes wrong.
Which type of printer is best for what
Printers in Malaysia fall into roughly three groups, and each genuinely wins at something. Being honest about this is more useful to you than a page claiming one shop is best at everything.

BISHH is in the second group. If your order is 500 identical shirts in one colour and price per piece is the only thing you care about, a silkscreen house will beat us and you should use one. For almost everything else, the tradeoffs run our way.
Who BISHH is a good fit for
Rather than claim to suit everyone, here is who actually orders from us and why it works for them. Each of these is a real pattern from our own order book.
- SMEs and corporate uniforms. Order the exact headcount you have, not a 50 piece minimum you will store in a cupboard. Add a new staff member in March and order one more shirt that matches, at the same quality, because there is no setup to redo. Check the current polo product price and selected printed sides before ordering.
- Team building, family days and company events. Eligible volume discounts apply automatically when products in the same active discount group reach a tier. Every piece is printed to the same standard as the first, which matters when the photos go on LinkedIn.
- Schools, classes and clubs. Full colour costs the same as one colour with Premium HD Heatpress, so a detailed class design is not penalised. Check the product for current kids sizes and prices.
- Brands, merch drops and resellers. Print a small first run to test a design before committing capital to it. There is no minimum, so a ten piece test costs ten pieces, not fifty.
- One offs and gifts. A single printed tee is printed to the same standard as a group order, at the current price for your chosen product and options. Most printers will not take this job at all.
Who BISHH is not the right answer for
Three cases where you should use someone else, and we would rather tell you now than after you have paid. First, very large single colour runs, roughly 500 pieces and up, where silkscreen setup costs are spread thin enough to beat us on unit price. Second, embroidery, which is a different craft and not what we do. Third, if you need shirts in your hands tomorrow morning with no warning, a walk in shop in your own town will serve you better than any online studio, ours included. Check the production estimate for your quantity after artwork confirmation, with delivery on top. Confirm urgent requirements before ordering. Every order gets its own tracking page, so you can see the stage it is at without messaging anyone. Delivery covers Malaysia and Singapore, or you can self collect from the studio in Denai Alam, Shah Alam, during store hours.
Printing is Premium HD Heatpress, which has no per order setup and no per colour charge. That is the reason a single piece and a hundred pieces are printed to the same standard, and why a full colour photograph costs the same to print as a line of text.

How to check any printer before you order
Whoever you end up using, including us, these four checks take about five minutes and will save you the common disasters.
- Look at their Google reviews, and specifically read the recent ones. A high rating on very few reviews tells you little. BISHH holds 5.0 across 314 Google reviews, and 5,700 ratings on its Shopee Mall store.
- Ask whether the price quoted includes printing. Many quoted prices in Malaysia are for the blank garment only, and the print is added later.
- Ask whether the stated turnaround is production time or includes delivery, and get it in writing.
- Ask whether they print in house or send it out. If they send it out, ask who prints it.
